East Kent M.N.D Association Group is holding an awareness raising meeting in conjunction with the Beavers at Sturry Scout Hall on Saturday Sept 6th from 11am to 1pm.
This event is being supported by the Beavers Group who is led by Sarah Jones as they are working towards achieving their Friendship Challenge Badges. Therefore, they will provide the cakes and serve the refreshments during the morning.
This year Katy Styles, Campaigns volunteer will talk on raising awareness and campaigning locally and nationally.
The Lord Mayor Cllr Ann Taylor and the Sheriff Cllr Tony Austin have confirmed their attendance which is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the needs of people living with M.N.D.
