Chrissie Batts? specialist nurse and a committee member of East Kent MNDA, met Tim, his wife and 3 children at Academy?105.9 fm Folkestone studio at 8.15 on Saturday 3rd May.??The group was?greeted by Kevin Daly also know as “?Sports Ferret?” who works at the station and does a lot locally with sport and fundraising;?he attends the Saltwood run held on Boxing Day and comperes.

Sports Ferret?also knew Mark and?all about his fitness, football career and what he was like as a person.

Sports Ferret?and his disc jockey?colleague asked?Chrissie about MND.? Then after a short break for music, it was Tim’s time to?answer questions?about Mark, the marathon, his training, preparation and for running the marathon.

Sports Ferret?offered his services with promoting any events and?awareness raising that?Tim or MNDA in East Kent?might have in the future.
