  1. Inspite of having to cancel this event some people turned up on rather a grey blustery day and Valerie was on hand to provide a hot drink and homemade cake. donations and sales of marmalade raised ?200 for EKMNDA and The Alzheimer’s Society.
Many thanks to Swarling Manor and we hope the flooding recedes!

  2. Many thanks to Boots and Waterstones in Whitefriars for their contribution to the raffle prizes for our Snowdrop Walk.
Since the walk has been cancelled due to flooding, we will use these donations foe The June Ball Raffle.
    We greatly appreciate the support.

  3. Sadly due to flooding in the area, the Snowdrop Walk has been cancelled. Please let any one who you think might be going know about the cancellation.
We regret the short notice of cancellation but current uncertainty about the weather and possible flooding makes it unavoidable.

  4. The Snowdrop Stroll at Swarling Manor is going ahead inspite of the weather , however the entrance to Swarling Manor is now a stream but passable in an ordinary car.We will also have a four wheeled drive car available to ferry people through the drive entrance if anyone would prefer to do this.
The grounds are walkable but do bring wellies !
Unfortunately I dont think this outing is suitable for wheelchairs because of the current conditions.

The snowdrops are so pretty and well worth a visit to this gorgeous garden and you will enjoy the hot drinks and homemade cakes and the grand raffle so I look forward to seeing you there.

Lets all hope we have some dry weather next week.
In the event that we have to cancel we will post it on our local website.
