Mrs Gwen Pay outside the Sturry Pharmacy where she has worked for many years.?She has been a keen supporter of the MNDA ever since she first heard that Diane Sackett was diagnosed with this terrible disease in 2006.
Each year for the past eight years, she?has contacted?Brian Sackett?to arrange publicity materials to fill one of the pharmacy windows.? Like most of our supporters she is helping to?raise awareness, and?funds?from customers donations in the Sturry area.
She will be placing our poster for the MNDA meeting on 6th September 2014 in the shop window. For eight years she has shown us loyal support, and The East Kent Development Group of MNDA thank her for her continued help and support.??It is greatly appreciated.
This?year Katy Styles will make a presentation about Campaigning for greater awareness of MND to both local communities and to local and Nation Government. As ever the local Beavers will be involved throughout and we have invited The Lord Mayor of Canterbury.
