Fantastic day, once again we were blessed with good weather.

We were dropped off by our host Kate Taylor at The Pink Pub near Bognor for our journey to Portsmouth via Chichester.

From Portsmouth we caught another bus to our hotel in Southsea. We had some lunch and explored the area around the pier. We found a big wheel which had a wheelchair gondola. Good access and great views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

More buses to get The Rose in June. Nobody told us bus 1 is a loop so rather confused to see buses going both ways to the same destination. ?Sorted that out and arrived on time at the venue.

Recommend The Rose in June to everyone, it is a great local pub with a fabulous garden. The garden was set up for music and a barbecue. Thanks to landlords Paul and Paul

We were entertained by two artists and enjoyed the most wonderful burgers.

The Portsmouth volunteers and all the guests were so friendly we felt like we had known them for years.
